The present invention relates to a control system for controlling a power relay, and more particularly, to a power relay control system based on IoT through multimedia chatting, capable of checking state information of an indoor device through a chatting window after a user himself or herself, or a plurality of users connect chatting with at least one or more open hardware platforms supporting internet of thing (IoT) through multimedia chatting including a voice, a text, an image, or a combination thereof, and selectively controlling on and off for each power relay of the indoor device based on a control command which the user checking the state information inputs, and a method thereof.
