METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING EXPANDED FIRST-PERSON VIEW GAME IN VIRTUAL REALITY GAME SYSTEM

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for providing expanded first-person view game in a virtual reality game system. The method for providing an expanded first-person view game comprises the steps of: calculating a ratio corresponding to objects contained in a virtual reality game based on sizes of characters by a first-person view game provider when a user selects a character; correcting the ratio by comparing the ratio with a predetermined minimum ratio by the first-person view game provider; correcting the size or position of the object on the basis of the ratio by the first-person view game provider; calculating the location of the character on the basis of the ratio by the first-person view game provider; correcting the virtual reality game corresponding to a viewpoint of the character on the basis of the corrected object and the calculated location of the character by the first-person view game provider; and providing the user with the corrected virtual reality game by the first-person view game provider. In this instance, the object includes: a background object which is a fixed object contained in the virtual reality game; and an arrangement object which is a movable object contained in the virtual reality game.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
