The present invention relates to transparent disc-shaped microparticles surface modified with polydopamine and cell culture using the same. When the cells care cultured using the disc-shaped microparticles coated with the polydopamine according to the present invention, the cell adhesion is excellent and the cells can be observed with an inverted microscope, which is advantageous compared to conventional spherical microparticles.
