Disclosed are an apparatus and method for deduplication of a network packet, an apparatus for restoring a deduplicated file. The method deduplication of a network packet performed by the apparatus for deduplication of a network packet includes a step of determining whether a chunk generated based on a network packet is a deduplication object, a step of generating a fingerprint of the deduplication object chunk; a step of determining whether the fingerprint matches a pre-stored fingerprint; a step of generating metadata based on at least one of whether the image data is the deduplication object chunk and whether the finger printer is matched; and a step of generating a deduplication file from which the duplicate data of the network packet is removed using the metadata.
