The present invention relates to a method for providing information for diagnosis of atopic dermatitis including a step for comparing the expression level of prostaglandin reductase 2 (PTGR2). The present invention also relates to a screening method of atopy-inducing substances or a screening method of therapeutic agents for the atopic dermatitis. The method of the present invention provides the method for the diagnosis of atopic dermatitis by a more objective method using feces, in addition to a conventional subjective judgment method of a doctor, thereby being usefully used for screening of the atopy-inducing substances and therapeutic agents.
