LARGE-SCALE REAL-TIME IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD USING APACHE KAFKA

A large-scale real-time image processing system and method using apache kafka are provided. The large-scale real-time image processing system includes a frame divider which stores an image received from a stream channel including a plurality of channels, divides the stored image into frames of a specific time unit, serializes a plurality of image color channels in a frame channel, and convert them to a byte array data format. A Kafka cluster which processes scheduling to distribute the converted byte array data by the frame distributor to a node that will perform actual image processing application and includes a plurality of Kafka nodes including a buffer for guaranteeing stable transmission, and a plurality of nodes for receiving and encoding the serialized byte array data from the buffer and performing predetermined image processing and analysis.
