The present invention relates to a surface-modified chitosan core gold-shell nanoparticle for neurotransmitter detection and a probe for surface-enhanced Raman scattering measurement having the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to the surface-modified chitosan core gold-shell nanoparticle improved in sensitivity and accuracy of measurement by increasing binding force with a nerve substance and a probe for measuring surface-enhanced Raman scattering having the same. The surface-modified chitosan core gold-shell nanoparticles of the present invention can stably fix a neurotransmitter material around the gold nanoparticle by chemical bonding or electrostatic adsorption, thereby increasing the sensitivity and accuracy of the measurement. The probe for measuring surface-enhanced Raman scattering of the present invention can bind to or adsorb to the neurotransmitters present at very low concentrations to provide a Raman signal and thus increase the sensitivity of the measurement.
