The present invention relates to a polyester dividing yarn having improved stretchability and to a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a polyester dividing yarn having improved stretchability which is produced into a dividing yarn instead of a mono yarn and then changed into the mono yarn after a dividing process; and to a production method thereof.
