The present invention relates to a method for inspecting genotypes of hepatitis C virus (HCV). More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for inspecting genotypes of hepatitis C virus (HCV) by amplifying a corresponding gene using a primer for amplifying a hepatitis C virus Core-E2 gene and analyzing a sequence thereof. The present invention also relates to a diagnostic kit and a marker composition for detecting hepatitis C virus infection using the sequence of the HCV Core-E2 gene analyzed from domestic hepatitis C patients.
