The device may be configured to determine an identifier associated with an address of a resource associated with the multimedia content and to embed the identifier in a signal indicative of the multimedia content. The device may be configured to receive the multimedia signal, to parse the identifier associated with the address of the resource from the multimedia signal, to generate a query including the identifier, and to receive the supplemental content in response to the query.
