The present invention relates to an engine protecting type gas valve train which comprises a filter connected to an MEGI pipe or a FGS pipe connected to a methane route of a gas valve train; and a differential pressure gauge formed in both ends of the filter. Therefore, a foreign substance contained in fuel gas flowing into methane route is blocked in the filter, and differential pressure of both ends of the filter is measured to acquire a replacement or maintenance signal of the filter. According to the present invention, through the engine protecting type gas valve train, damage to the filter installed in the gas valve train is prevented by an unsuspected accident to remove burden of risk in an MEGI side, and after a shutdown, when reoperation is performed, fatigue damage to the inside of an engine is prevented by high pressure fuel gas pushed into the MEGI.
