A cover apparatus, which is opened and closed to cover a loading box of an environmental waste transportation vehicle, includes: a cover unit installed at an upper portion of the loading box and pivotally opened and closed in a folding manner; a spray dispensing unit distributed evenly over an entire lower surface of the cover unit to spray water in a spray form toward an environmental waste accommodated in the loading box; a temperature and humidity sensing unit extending from a lower portion of the cover unit toward an inside of the loading box to sense a temperature and humidity of the environmental waste accommodated in the loading box; and a control unit provided on one side of the cover unit to control the spray dispensing unit based on a sensing result of the temperature and humidity sensing unit. Accordingly, the cover apparatus for the loading box of the environment waste transportation vehicle, which is capable of controlling a temperature and humidity, is provided to adjust a temperature and humidity of various environmental wastes accommodated in the loading box, so that pollutants such as dust, odors, and waste water are prevented from being generated from the environmental wastes.
