An apparatus and method for generating prediction information based on a keyword search volume are disclosed. The method for generating prediction information based on a keyword search volume using the apparatus for generating prediction information based on a keyword search volume according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving internal data and classifying internal data values according to one or more types; generating search information for each type to collect the keyword search volume for each type using keyword search information collected by an internet portal site; and generating the prediction information to calculate prediction data values at a prediction time point from the internal data values using the search information for each type. Accordingly, the present invention can simply and quickly predict the next period data from the previous period data.
