The present invention relates to a system for recognizing the physical characteristics of head and neck articulators through a sensor, recognizing an intention of speaking through the same, and providing speech details in text through a presentation device and a method thereof. The present invention comprises: a sensor unit (100) disposed to be adjacent to one surface of the head and neck of a speaker (10) to measure the physical characteristics of articulators; a data analyzing unit (200) for recognizing one or more speech features (220) of the speaker based on a position (210) of the sensor unit and the measured physical characteristics of the articulators; and a data conversion unit (300) for converting the position (210) of one or more sensor units and the one or more speech features (210) to text data (310) wherein the sensor unit includes an oral cavity tongue sensor (110) that may be adjacent to one surface of the oral cavity tongue or inserted thereinto.
