Crab Shells Removal Apparatus Having Improved Sorting Quality

The present invention relates to a crab shell removing apparatus with an improved sorting quality. More specifically, since protruding parts of a lower roller for removing crab shells comprise a first protruding part, which is smaller than the body of a crab, and a second protruding part, which is similar to the body of a crab in size, the crab shell removing apparatus with an improved sorting quality is capable of quickly improving the speed of removing crab shells and increasing the efficiency of removing protrusions around the mouth of a crab as well as smoothly removing crab shells even when the crabs are not well arranged. To achieve the purpose, the apparatus comprises: a transfer part transferring crabs; and a crab shell removing part removing the front and rear shells of the crabs transferred over the transfer part. As the crab shell removing part comprises an upper roller located above an entering surface of a crab and a lower roller located under the surface, the front and rear shells of the crab are removed by making the crab go through the space between the upper and lower rollers. The upper roller pressurizes the rear shell of the crab, and the lower roller includes a plurality of protruding parts formed on the outer edge in a direction orthogonal to a rotating direction to remove the rear shell, so the front end of the rear shell is inserted into a groove between the protruding parts and the rear shell is removed after being stopped from being moved. The protruding parts comprise a first protruding part, which is smaller than the body of a crab, and a second protruding part which is equal to or larger in size than the body of the crab.
