Techniques related to temporal noise reduction of an image are described. This technique involves generating a noise stream corresponding to an input image and adaptively reassembling the spatial noise reduction image and the noise stream corresponding to the reference image and the input image corresponding to the input image to produce a temporal noise reduction output image .
