The present invention relates to an upper groundwater protection element forming a vertical and horizontal coupling separation element and a water meter protection box and, more specifically, relates to an upper groundwater protection element forming a vertical and horizontal coupling separation element and a water meter protection box, which can be conveniently installed and managed by freely moving and extending a vertical space and a horizontal space within a water meter protection box that is narrow in a process of connecting and installing an upper groundwater protection element installed in a tube well of groundwater and a water meter protection box. According to the present invention, a structure of the upper groundwater protection element forming a vertical and horizontal coupling separation element and the water meter protection box comprises: an upper protection element installed in an upper portion of a tube well of groundwater; a discharge pipe formed to penetrate through the outside through a coupling device within the upper protection element; a water meter protection box in which a water meter connected to the extending discharge pipe is embedded; a horizontal coupling device formed in upper and lower ends about the water meter in the water meter protection box; an expansion unit formed to be connected to the horizontal coupling device and a water meter coupling port; and an upper and lower coupling port formed to be installed by penetrating while a height of the discharge pipe is adjusted in the water meter protection box.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
