The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for diagnosing systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) comprising AIMP1 as an effective component, and a method for diagnosing SLE using the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a biomarker composition for diagnosing SLE comprising AIMP1, an SLE diagnosis kit using the same, and a method for diagnosing SLE. Also, the present invention provides a biomarker composition for SLE prognosis prediction containing AIMP1 as an effective component, a kit for SLE prognosis prediction using the same, and an SLE prognosis prediction method.
