The present invention is to produce bis (fluorosulfonyl) imide ammonium salt which has a low content of impurities, and which comprises the following steps: (A) adding a reaction solvent and ammonium fluoride to a reaction vessel, and cooling the reaction vessel to a temperature of 0 to 5°C; (B) adding bis (chlorosulfonyl) imide by dropping to the cooled reaction vessel, raising the temperature to 80 to 100°C, and allowing the reaction to proceed for 2 to 4 hours; and (C) cooling the reaction vessel to room temperature after the termination of the reaction, followed by the filtration to obtain bis (fluorosulfonyl) imide ammonium salt.
