The present invention relates to an economic driving induction apparatus using fuel efficiency characteristics of an engine. A database of fuel consumption based on an opening rate of an acceleration pedal and an engine rotation speed is constructed for each engine, current fuel consumption of a vehicle and optimal fuel consumption are reported to a driver, and a driving type of the optimal fuel consumption is reported, thereby improving fuel efficiency. The economic driving induction apparatus using fuel efficiency characteristics of an engine comprises: a database in which data of fuel consumption based on an opening rate of an acceleration pedal and an engine rotation speed for each engine is stored; an output means which outputs information constructed in the database, and displays an optimal fuel consumption section by one or more of vision and sound; and a controller which receives the current acceleration pedal opening rate and engine rotation speed of the vehicle, and displays the current fuel consumption and optimal fuel consumption section through the output means by one or more of vision and sound. The driver is induced to drive in the optimal fuel consumption section by confirming the current fuel consumption position and optimal fuel consumption section.
