The present invention relates to a method for generating a descriptor of a 3D mesh model which generates a topology structure in an input 3D mesh model, calculates a local volume characteristic for each topology node included in the generated topology structure and generates a descriptor of the 3D mesh model. Also, the present invention relates to a method for recognizing a pose-transformed 3D mesh model which recognizes whether a pose of the 3D mesh model is transformed through a comparison of the descriptors generated according to the method for generating a descriptor of a 3D mesh model.
