The present invention relates to a device for configuring building information modeling (BIM) objects, a method for the same, and a computer-readable recording medium for recording the method. According to the present invention, the device for configuring the BIM objects includes: a block module for extracting multiple unit drawings from a basic drawing; an information processing module which builds a design information database based on the building drawings including the drawing number, actual name, work area, work items, and raw material information of the unit drawings after extracting the drawing number, actual name, work area, work items, and raw material information from the individual ones of the unit drawings; and a BIM object configuration module which extracts the work items and raw material information from the design information database based on the building drawings in accordance with a user request and configures BIM objects having the extracted work items and raw material information as properties.
