The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for monitoring a status of a building which can not only increase accuracy and reliability in determination, but also can increase safety by integrally monitoring various disaster situations by using MEMS-based integrated smart sensors attached to a building, can reduce casualties due to a disaster by expressing to the outside by using a warning apparatus in a disaster situation, and can build an IoT-based building integrated monitoring system of a comprehensivepreliminary response to a general building and a construction facility safety management.
