Disclosed are a sensor material comprising a one-dimensional porous metal oxide nanofiber in which catalytic particles are uniformly transferred at a position where spherical and elliptical pores and irregular-shaped concavo-convex structures are formed on the surface, and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention relates to a porous metal oxide nanofiber sensor material having a one-dimensional structure with maximized catalytic effect by using a block copolymer template in which catalyst nanoparticles are uniformly bound to form a plurality of pores in a finally formed gas sensing material to activate the diffusion and reaction of gas, and by uniformly transferring the catalyst nanoparticles.
