The present invention relates to a culvert and a method for constructing the same. More specifically, the culvert and the method for constructing the same are provided to prevent corrosion of a connection steel wire and leakage and sagging of the culvert. The culvert comprises: a main body having a first anchorage recessed to predetermined depth from a front surface, a second anchorage recessed to a predetermined depth from a rear surface, a connection steel wire hole connecting the first and the second anchorages, and an injection hole connected to the first anchorage or the second anchorage from the outer surface or the inner surface, wherein the main body has the opened front and rear surfaces and a hollow portion formed therein so a channel is formed when the main bodies are connected; the connection steel wire installed in the connection steel wire hole through the first anchorage or the second anchorage so as to be connected with the main body; and a sealing member inserted to the injection hole and sealing the first and second anchorages and the connection steel wire hole.
