EXERCISE ASSISTANCE APPARATUS BY JUDGEMENT OF ASSIST POWER AND PHYSICAL FITNESS EQUIPMENT HAVING THE SAME

The present invention relates to an exercise assistance apparatus which enables a fitness trainee to perform a weight training by himself or herself by precisely assisting muscle exercise and is capable of providing competitive and high value added physical fitness equipment; and physical fitness equipment provided with the exercise assistance apparatus. The present invention provides the exercise assistance apparatus comprising: an installation unit configured to be attachable to and detachable from a first direction frame constituting a rack for muscle exercise and provided in parallel to the first direction frame; a power transmission unit having the installation unit and generating and transmitting power; and an exercise assistance unit coupled to the installation unit to be able to move and receiving the power from the power transmission unit to apply external force needed for exercise assistance and exercise. The exercise assistance unit includes: a box shaped holding case having one end coupled to the power transmission unit and having an opening with an opened upper side; one or more load cells held in the holding case and detecting load applied from an upper part; a cover member covering the opening of the holding case whereas the load applied from the outside is transferred to the load cells; and a microcomputer provided at the power transmission unit or the holding case, calculating values of an exercise assistance point and an exercise assistance strength according to encoder signals transmitted from a motor and calculating an external force value to be generated by the power transmission unit according to the calculated values of the exercise assistance point and the exercise assistance strength to transmit control signals to the power transmission unit.
