Disclosed are an infrared non-uniformity correcting apparatus by predicting a real-time temperature value, and a method thereof. The infrared non-uniformity correcting apparatus of the present invention comprises: a temperature threshold value calculating module for analyzing temperature information on a pixel in an infrared image in real time to predict and calculate a temperature threshold value; a first determination module for determining whether to update non-uniformity correction by the temperature threshold value calculated by the temperature threshold calculating module; a second determination module for determining an update performing time point of the non-uniformity correction in real time when the first determination module determines that the non-uniformity correction should be updated; and an infrared non-uniformity correction updating module for performing the infrared uniformity correction at the update performing time point in accordance with a determination of the second determination module. According to the present invention, infrared non-uniformity correction is configured to be automatically updated at an optimal time point in accordance with a predetermined algorithm rather than a subjective determination criterion of a user, and thus, efficiency of an equipment operation can be improved, and an optimal infrared image can be generated.
