The present invention relates to an underwater acoustic ring type transducer using a piezoelectric single crystal polarized in the same direction as a displacement direction of a piezoelectric single crystal element. Especially, the present invention relates to a transducer capable of designing miniaturization and lightweight while achieving a high output in the same frequency band compared to that of a ring type transducer with an existing piezoelectric ceramic material, by composing the ring type transducer with a ring type piezoelectric body which composes a plurality of piezoelectric single crystal elements as a ring shape. The ring type piezoelectric body composed of the piezoelectric single crystal comprises: the plurality of piezoelectric single crystal elements connected in the ring shape; and a wire formed along an outer peripheral surface of the ring, and applying a compressive stress to the ring type piezoelectric body.
