The present invention relates to a seismic reinforcement method of an existing building, anchoring a door-shaped steel frame including an energy dissipation means installed in a disconnected portion formed in an upper part to an existing building frame to prevent a collapse due to an effect of dissipating earthquake energy in a case of earthquake without damage to appearance. According to a suitable embodiment of the present invention, a steel frame is welded in a door shape, left and right sides and a lower part of the steel frame are anchored to a framework of the steel frame, a disconnected deformation section is formed in an upper part of the steel frame, and an energy dissipation means is connected and installed in the deformation section, thereby primarily resisting to earthquake force with the framework of the existing building reinforced by the steel frame in a case of earthquake and secondarily absorbing the earthquake energy with the energy dissipation means in a case of generation of interlayer displacement.
