Apparatus of Wastewater Treatment for Short-cut Nitrogen Removal Process using Partial Nitritation with Ammonium Oxidation Bacteria Granule and using Anaerobic Ammonium Oxidation

The present invention relates to a wastewater treatment apparatus for a short-cut nitrogen removal process using partial nitritation with ammonium oxidation bacteria (AOB) granules and anaerobic ammonium oxidation (ANAMMOX). High-purity AOB granules are formed by using a side stream occurred during a sludge treatment process to activate the AOB. Moreover, the AOB granules formed are supplied to a nitritation tank of the main treating process to effectively perform partial nitritation and at the same time quickly remove nitrogen, thereby reducing more oxygen and organic matters than the conventional method.
