EPS-AKA Enhanced EPS-AKA methodology for mobile telecom subscriber's authentication issue

In the present invention, provided is a method for authenticating a mobile communications subscriber by using an enhanced EPS-AKA (tentatively called) protocol enhanced for security. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a create session request message based on an attach request to a mobility management entity (MME) through an evolved node B (eNB); receiving a non-access stratum (NAS) authentication request from the MME; and authenticating an LTE network to correspond to the NAS authentication request and then transmitting an authentication response (RES) including an RES generated by using a key generation algorithm to the MME. The create session request message comprises an exclusive-or value of IMSI and international mobile equipment identify (IMEI) and a random number (RAND) as a random value.
