The present invention relates to a novel Lactococcus lactis strain KF140 (Accession No. KCCM11673P) and to uses thereof, and more specifically, to a Lactococcus lactis strain KF140 (Accession No. KCCM11673P), to a food composition having the glycation end products-reducing activity comprising crushed materials thereof or culture thereof as an active ingredient, and to a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of diseases caused by glycation end products. The present invention also relates to the Lactococcus lactis strain KF140 (Accession No. KCCM11673P), and to a composition for treating irritable bowel syndrome, a probiotic composition, a feed composition, and fermented products comprising the crushed materials thereof or the culture thereof as the active ingredient.
