At present, numerous herbicidal compositions have been developed and used. However, there are many kinds of weeds to be controlled, and the occurrence also takes a long time. Therefore, it is desired to develop a herbicidal composition having a broad herbicidal spectrum and high activity and long lasting effect. The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising (A) plaza sulfuroin or a salt thereof and (B) a compound selected from the group consisting of a phenylpyrazole compound, a triazolinone compound, an N-phenylphthalimide compound, a pyrimidinedione compound, an oxadiazole compound, A herbicidal composition comprising at least one protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor selected from the group consisting of a thiadiazole compound, a pyrazolone compound, a thiadiazole compound, pyraclonyl, pro flourazole, flufenpyr-ethyl and salts thereof.
