The present invention relates to a method of authenticating a published offline document, the method including the steps of: (a) acquiring, by a document management server, ID information of the offline document and comparison document data including character data corresponding to the offline document as authentication request information for the published offline document; and (b), by the document management server, (i) performing a process of creating a comparison hash value by applying a hash function to a value acquired from the ID information of the offline document and the comparison document data or a value obtained by processing the comparison hash value and a process of acquiring a reference hash value corresponding to ID information of a certain publish target document or a value obtained by processing the reference hash value from a database, and (ii) creating a result value of the document authentication using the reference hash value or the value obtained by processing the reference hash value and the comparison hash value or the value obtained by processing the comparison hash value. The present invention can improve reliability and security of an original document by registering an offline document in a block chain of virtual money to prevent forgery or falsification of the offline document.
