The present invention relates to a method for providing virtual reality-related content using streaming, which comprises the steps of: (a) classifying three-dimensional model data into three-dimensional space model data and three-dimensional object model data; (b) using the three-dimensional space model data to draw a grid structure on a plane for a space; (c) obtaining a 360-degree panorama image of the space model corresponding to the grid structure to generate a depth map image; (d) obtaining a 360-degree object image for an object model corresponding to the three-dimensional object model data to generate a depth map image; (e) compressing the 360-degree panorama image and the 360-degree object image into a down-scaled image; and (f) transmitting the compressed down-scaled image according to a request from a client server. According to the present invention, the 360-degree panorama image and the 360-degree object image are used, thereby allowing provision of virtual reality-related content having reactivity enhanced by means of streaming, such that image-type virtual reality is provided on a low-end client terminal and a general service is provided in a three-dimensional real-time rendering on a high-end client terminal.
