摘要
The present invention relates to a parallel capacitor protection device for an electrical substation. The parallel capacitor protection device which maintains multiple capacitors arranged in a parallel position in all four horizontal directions by using vertical and horizontal frames and installs an insulating oil drip tray on the lower part of the capacitors while being coupled to the horizontal frame. The insulating oil drip tray is made as a rectangular housing having the capacitors arranged in forward and backward directions to maintain the parallel left and right states. An insulation and shielding plate is formed to have extended front and rear coupling holes individually formed on one side surface to be extended in a planar shape in an upward direction while being cut in a horizontal direction toward the inside from the front and rear parts of the upper part while having front and rear bolt insert holes individually formed on the upper part of the extended front and rear coupling holes at predetermined intervals in a through shape. A discharging hole is formed on the lower end of the front surface to be sealed and fixed with a sealing cap. When a power condensing tank malfunctions, the leakage of the insulating oil due to damage on the insulating oil drip tray can be minimized even after the insulating oil drip tray is damaged by the breakage of a capacitor container caused by the decomposition gas pressure from an arc generated between electrodes, thereby minimizing the environmental pollution of soils. The insulating and shielding plate extended in an upward direction is formed on a surface of the insulating oil drip tray to be reliably fixed and installed on the horizontal frame, thereby completely separating and isolating the parallel capacitors in the left and right directions. The capacitor container can be prevented from being expanded and broken due to the arc between the electrodes generated in accordance with the malfunction of the parallel capacitors, thereby minimizing damage in case of explosions and preventing the spread of fire.
