The present invention relates to an apparatus for predicting a finishing time of a construction process using a process pattern analysis and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises: a data collection unit for collecting data on the input number of personnel and the input amount of materials for each professional field according to a time interval set in one construction process; a standardization unit for standardizing data on the input number of personnel and the input amount of materials for each professional field, and extracting a standardized labor amount and a material input amount; a calculation unit for calculating a positive relationship index and a negative relationship index between the standardized labor amount and the standardized material input amount; a material input amount prediction unit for selecting at least one professional field in which the calculated positive relationship index or negative relation index has a value smaller than a threshold value, and predicting a material input amount by using the number of persons expected to be inputted to the selected professional field according to a construction process plan; and a finishing time prediction unit for predicting a finishing time of a construction process, which is a time for reaching the target commitment amount of materials planned in the construction process, by accumulating the predicted material input amount. According to the present invention, it is possible to apply the apparatus to a site, such as a high-rise construction project, in which it is difficult to determine process productivity, and it is possible to predict a process finish time being suitable for an actual site and having high reliability on the basis of performance data of a project currently being performed.
