The present invention relates to an odor removal method using a cage-type odor removal device with a rice husk pellet carrier, and the odor removal device thereof. The cage-type odor removal device with the rice husk pellet carrier can easily put and replace the rice husk pellet carrier capable of growing microorganisms which remove odor. The rice husk pellet carrier is mounted on a carrier cage. The carrier cage, on which the rice husk pallet carrier is mounted, is installed and fixed along a guide rail provided on a body of the odor removal device. Therefore, an odor component is removed by microorganisms carried in the rice husk pellet carrier while incoming odor gas passes through a fixed carrier cage layer. After a certain period of time, when the rice husk pellet carrier is to be replaced, the cage, on which the rice husk pellet carrier is mounted, is easily detached and replaced with a carrier cage with a new rice husk pellet, thereby increasing the deodorization efficiency and ensuring the convenience of maintenance.
