The present invention relates to a system for collecting railway information based on a data distribution service, which comprises: a railway information generating and transmitting unit for generating railway information including sensing information sensed in a railway system and transmitting the same through a communications protocol based on a data distribution service; and a railway information collecting unit for receiving the railway information transmitted from the railway information generating and transmitting unit through the communications protocol based on the data distribution service. Accordingly, design costs of a railway system can be reduced since information collected from various components generating railway information on the railway system can be received through many-to-one or many-to-many communications. Also, the railway information generated in each of the components sets each QoS, such that reliability on the railway information and data transmission and reception is improved. In addition, the railway information generating and transmitting unit is generated in a duplex system, thereby improving reliability on the railway information generated in the railway system.
