The present invention relates to a device for updating an emotion dictionary of text sensitivity analysis and a method thereof. To achieve a purpose of the present invention, the device for updating an emotion dictionary of text sensitivity analysis comprises: a classification module receiving input data in a normal character string form and classifying the input data into multiple pieces of phrase information; a score module generating a renewal emotion score which is a new emotion score of a target phrase by using emotion intensity about a predetermined emotion of the surrounding phrases which are the rest phrases except for the target phrase among the multiple pieces of the phrase information classified in the classification module and distance on a text structure with the target phrase; and an updating module updating an emotion dictionary by using the renewal emotion score of the target phrase generated in the score module. According to the present invention, the device for updating an emotion dictionary of text sensitivity analysis can dynamically analyze sensitivity such as an emotional expression specialized in a new word or a domain.
