Disclosed are a method and a system for correcting a prescription recognition error, which correct a recognition error occurred when recognizing a prescription by using an optical character reader (OCR) in an individual pharmacy by utilizing a past revision record at several pharmacies integrally managed by a server terminal, thereby improving a prescription recognition rate and reducing a prescription error due to prescription misrecognition. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for correcting a prescription recognition error comprises the following steps of: identifying a first text matched with a selected error condition among an original text extracted from a patient prescription; determining a correction value of the first text based on a weight related to a plurality of past correction values among the plurality of past correction values corresponding to the error condition; and changing the first text to the correction value, and correcting the original text.
