The present invention relates to a digital signature authentication system based on biometric information and a digital signature authentication method thereof. The digital signature authentication system based on biometric information according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an authentication server for registering a public key of a signer and verifying an electronic document using the registered public key of the signer; an electronic document providing device for generating a final storage electronic file; and a user device for generating a digital signature value using a secret key of the signer, generating encrypted data obtained by encrypting the generated digital signature value, and providing the encrypted data to the electronic document providing device. Therefore, the present invention can improve the stability and reliability of the digital signature.
