The present invention relates to a method for maunfacturing a diamond knife for an ultra-microtome for continuous cutting, comprising: a step of determining a shape and dimensions of the knife; a step of performing a multiphase flow analysis on droplet movement at a tip of the knife having the shape and dimensions determined; a step of processing a fine pattern capable of ensuring hydrophobicity according to a flow analysis resu and a step of polishing a knife blade after patterning to minimize a spacing between the pattern and the blade. Thus, the knife blade can always be kept wet by the droplet movement between the hydrophobic fine pattern and the hydrophilic surface.
