A distributed resource description framework (RDF) query processing system of the present invention includes: a master which, when a query processing request is received from a client, divides the received query into subqueries, groups the subqueries based on a related node, creates all query execution paths that can be executed by using the grouped subqueries, selects a query execution path in consideration of the join cost, communication cost, and waiting time of each of the query execution paths, and transmits the grouped subqueries to one or more slaves according to a selected query execution path; and the at least one slave which parses data corresponding to the subqueries received from the master, and performs query processing according to a query execution path with respect to intermediate results after parsing. One of the slaves, having a final result which is a result of the query processing, transmits the final result to the master. According to the present invention, the join cost, data input/output cost, and communication cost can be reduced at the time of query processing.
