Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for 3D non-label imaging and quantification of lipids in hepatocytes. The method for 3D non-label imaging and quantification of lipids in hepatocytes comprises: a step of optically measuring distribution of 3D refractive indices of intracellular lipid droplets; a step of extracting at least one physical quantity of shape information, mass information, and concentration information of the intracellular lipid droplet using measured 3D refractive index distribution; and a step of analyzing physical quantities of the extracted intracellular lipid droplets to determine a state of the intracellular lipid droplets.
