The present invention provides a method of forming an element on an object surface in CAD application. The method includes a step of calculating a third normal vector that is an average of first and second normal vectors for each of first and second picking points of a first surface of an object; and a step of projecting an object connecting the first and second picking points along the normal direction of the third normal vector to the first surface of the object. It is possible to effectively implement an object projection on the object surface.
