Low Weight Flame Retardant Nonwoven Fabric and Seat-Cover using the same and Manufacturing Method thereof

The present invention relates to a low weight flame retardant nonwoven fabric, a seat cover member using the same, and a manufacturing method for the same. The low weight flame retardant nonwoven fabric is attached to the surface of a polyurethane foam instead of a backing cloth, an olefin film, or SD coating so that the low weight flame retardant nonwoven fabric is easily moved on a sewing machine plate for sewing to manufacture a seat. Also, the low weight flame retardant nonwoven fabric has inflexibility (properties of rarely having flexibility) and slip properties (properties of a slippery surface) so that the completed seat easily covers an object when the completed seat covers the object such as a vehicle seat. According to an aspect of the present invention, the manufacturing method for the same includes: (a) a step of generating long fiber including titanium dioxide, polypropylene, and a flame retardant; (b) a step of generating a first nonwoven fabric by radiating the long fiber in a single radiation method; and (c) a step of generating a second nonwoven fabric by radiating the long fabric onto the first nonwoven fabric in a double radiation method. In the step (c), the first nonwoven fabric and the second nonwoven fabric are fused, and therefore, has flexibility (tensile flexibility) of 40-51% of length and 71-83% of width.
