Systematic network coding based multimedia multicasting and broadcasting system

The present invention is to provide a real-time multimedia multicasting and broadcasting system which provides systematic network coding having an error concealment function through a packet loss channel based on systematic network coding in a channel environment in which packet loss occurs like a multimedia multicasting and broadcasting system, in a system for multicasting and broadcasting multimedia from a single server to a plurality of clients. The server includes: an encoder generating an optimized linear network coding packet through a packet loss channel by determining an optimized encoding number and code ratio in a packet loss ratio through systematic network coding for an error concealment function in the packet loss channel; and a transmitter multicasting and broadcasting the linear network coding packet, generated by the encoder, to a plurality of clients together with an original packet.
