The present invention provides an optical fiber light emitting patch type wearable device capable of being used in a gas leakage danger environment and a controlling method thereof. The optical fiber light emitting patch type wearable device can determine whether an environment is dangerous due to gas leakage by considering not only a concentration of outflow gas but also a variation of user behavior.
