The present invention relates to an outer rotor type brushless direct current motor for preventing electric corrosion, and to a method for preventing electric corrosion of the outer rotor type brushless direct current motor. The method for preventing electric corrosion of an outer rotor type brushless direct current motor comprises: a step of forming a concavo-convex unit on a bearing coupling unit of a rotary shaft; a step of processing TiN/TICN/TIAlN ion plating coating by nitriding the entire rotary shaft; and a step of forming a Teflon insulation layer again on the bearing coupling unit by considering indentation tolerance of a bearing. Thus, the method is able to effectively prevent electric corrosion of the bearing coupling unit; has excellent bearing slip prevention, and wear resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, and chemical resistance of a shaft by processing double coating and having a heat radiating structure of an X-shaped concavo-convex unit; and is able to induce and distribute minor current flowing on the bearing towards both ends of the rotary shaft by coupling zinc screws to the both ends of the rotary shaft. Therefore, the method is able to effectively conduct electric corrosion and corrosion prevention by improving features of an assembled motor and BLDC motor through a structural shape and material composition of the rotary shaft, and improve the performance and service life of the motor through wear resistance of the rotary shaft structure, chemical resistance to chemical drugs and a use atmosphere, and electric corrosion prevention due to electric conduction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
